Trend of campus violence hits my alma mater

I can't believe this is happening. What's up with students these days
that makes them act out violence? There's been an unfortunate stream
of events these past few years, and now it's hitting close to home. I
can only wonder what's going on in our national psyche that would make
young people resort to this.
